Nursery and Children's Ministry

Welcome to the children's ministry of The Ridge!

Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for children to hear the message of God's redeeming love.

Here are several of the volunteer opportunites available in our Childrens ministry:

Class Assistant: Interested in getting involved but dont know where to start? This is it! Our class assistants help our younger children to complete crafts and direct them in games. Come and have some fun with the kids while they learn about God's love.
Prep time: 0 !
Class time: 30 minutes

Teacher: Can you tell a story? Help a youngster with a small craft? It's not as tough as you might think. We utilize exceptional materials that make leading a lesson as easy as 1-2-3!

Nursery Assistant Do you love to hold and play with little ones? Come join our nursery staff as we read stories to the little ones and tend to their needs.

Volunteer Time: 1 hour

All of our volunteers must complete a background check and attend Safe Sanctuary Training. We hope to see you soon!

Hospitality

Prepare, Host, Serve

The Hospitality Team is in charge of preparing, and serving an array of breakfast foods on Sunday morning. The Hospitality Team also sets up and takes down the table in which we serve the food. We make sure there is hot coffee, both regular and decaf, hot water for tea or cocoa, and ice cold water. The Hospitality Team basically ensures there are beverages and food at any event The Ridge may host where food is appropriate. Whether you can help 5 minutes or longer, we welcome you!

Making It Work

Windows of Worship (WOW), transforms a cafeteria into a place of worship! The people involved put to use God’s gifts of creativity. This ministry provides an opportunity to demonstrate love for Christ by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which to worship and pray.
